Ian Grogan

My name is Ian and I come from a small town near Cleveland, Ohio called Concord. I am about to graduate from Kent State University with my bachelor's in Paralegal Studies. I had one more class to go, but this seemed like too good of an opportunity to pass up.

My placement is at the Western New York Law Center, where I am an intake specialist. That is just a fancy term for a paralegal who answers calls to the Center's hotline and postings on its website and works with one of the Center's attorneys. The Western New York Law Center helps homeowners in Erie, Niagra, and Wyoming counties facing mortgage foreclosure with legal representation. On occasion you have to make the tough calls, but the experience is also rewarding; not to mention it looks good on a résumé.

You know that small, nagging voice in the back of your head that tells you to give this program a shot? Listen to that voice. I am very glad I did.
